Our building offers metropolitan living with 24-hour security, on-site maintenance staff, underground parking, a gym, bike racks, storage space for residents, and much more. Conveniently, the building is located near several bus lines and BART stops. Getaround, Zipcar, and paid parking lots are all within walking distance, and fine dining is just a block away.
The Hamilton Association is a non-profit condominium association of homeowners promoting its elegant ballroom and courtyard, grand hotel-like lobby, and conference room to other San Franciscans looking for a one-of-a-kind place to live.
History of The Hamilton
Designed by renowned architect Albert H. Larsen and completed in 1930, The Hamilton was originally constructed as a luxury apartment hotel. The 21-story Art Deco tower quickly became a prominent fixture of the San Francisco skyline, showcasing classic geometric ornamentation, dramatic setbacks, and a grand stylized lobby.
Over the decades, the building transitioned from a high-end hotel into a residential condominium community. Today, it stands as a beautifully preserved historic landmark, blending its rich architectural heritage with modern downtown living.
